WHEREAS, an application has been filed requesting a variation from the
provisions of section v(c)(3)(h)(1) of the Zoning ordinance of the vi11a9e of
oak Brook to permit construction of entryway canopies extending 9'2" into the
required front yard at the properties commonly knorrn as 1211 and 130L 22nd
Street, oak Brooki and
WHEREAS, a public hearing on such application has been conducted Uy tne\,.-t
zoning Board of Appeals of oak Brook on July 7, 7gg2 pursuan! to due and \)appropriate legal noticei and RN1i.\
WHEREAS, a recorunendation has been made by said zoning Board of Appeals -\\that the variation requested be granted and made explicit findings that the 1t
varialion requested meets the applicable standards set forth in Section * N
XIlI(c)(4) of the said Oak Brook Zoning Ordinancei and \
WHEREAS, the village President and Board of TrusteeE concur with the
recommendations and findings made by the zoning Board of Appeals;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE oF oAI< BROOK, Du PAGE AND cooK couNTIEs, ILLINoIS as fotlows:
section L: That the provisions of the preamb!.e hereinabove set forth
are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
section 2: That a variatlon !s hereby granted from the provisions of
section v(c)(3)(h)(1) of the zoning ordinance of the village of oak Brook so
as to permit construction of entryway canopies extending 9'2" into the
required front yard at the properties cornmonly known as 1211 and 13Ol 22nd
Street, Oak Brook.
section 3r That this Ordinance is limited and resEricted to the
properties Iocated at 1211 and 1301 22nd street. said properties are legally
deBcribed on the attached Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.
section 5! That this ordinance shall be in fu]l force and effect from
