RESOLUTION 2021-AP-R-1913
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, MOIN SAIYED has faithfully and with dedication and distinction served the
Village of Oak Brook in his capacity, for two terms as Village Trustee from May, 2007 through May,
2011 and May, 2017 through May, 2021;and
WHEREAS, during the generous and dedicated rendering of said service MOIN
SAIYED has given unselfishly of his time, effort and expertise, contributing significantly
thereby to the advancement and good of the Village and its citizens; and
WHEREAS, MOIN SAIYED, as Trustee Liaison, worked tirelessly to improve relations with
the Oak Brook Park District through his efforts on the Sports Core Advisory Committee as well as
encouraging revitalization through his work as Liaison to the Hotel Committee and served as an advocate
for both the business community and the Greater Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, as Trustee Liaison to the Police Department, MOIN SAIYED was effective in
determining the best strategy to enhance that departments; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion that a record of such
faithful service should be made and spread upon the records of said Village.
Now, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook that the said, MOIN SAIYED, be and is hereby commended for his loyal
service to the Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its citizens, do hereby extend their appreciation and gratitude
to the said MOIN SAIYED for his civic service as aforedescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a dulycertified co of this Resolution be delivered to the
PY
said MOIN SAIYED and that this Resolution be spread upon the official permanent records of said
Village.
ADOPTED and APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, this 11 th day of May, 2021.
