AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AMENDMENTS AND TRANSFERS
AMONG BUDGET LINE ITEMS
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees deem it in the best interests of the Village
to enter into a collective bargaining agreement with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local
150; and
WHEREAS,the Village President and Board of Trustees elected to pass the 2021 Village operating
budget without cost of living adjustments for bargaining employees; and
WHEREAS, The Village President and Board of Trustees elect to authorize 2021 employee wage
increases for Public Works bargaining employees retroactive to January 1, 2021 in the Village's 2021
Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS that the following
amendment is hereby authorized:
Section 1: The recitals above are hereby incorporated into and made a part of this ordinance.
Section 2: In the attached schedule, attached as "Exhibit A", the amounts shown in the column
titled"Amount"represent the increases authorized. The total of said amounts are hereby added to the 2021
Village budget.
Section 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval
as required by law.
Section 4: All ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and
the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
