Oak Brook Police Department Investigating Retail Theft at Louis Vuitton

We have a few developments from our Retail Theft from Wednesday:
• Chicago Police Department recovered one of the three vehicles used; a Dodge Charger reported
stolen in October out of Chicago.
• The recovered vehicle will be processed at our Police Department later today.
• Estimated amount of merchandise taken is $120,000.
• We are still developing and working several leads to identity the offenders involved in our
incident.
Other points to share:
• We thank the Oakbrook Center Mall in their assistance in this investigation.
• We, as always, encourage people to stay alert and conscious of their surroundings and to call
911 if they see anything suspicious.
Oak Brook, IL- November 17, 2021- The Oak Brook Police Department is currently investigating a
Retail Theft that occurred at Louis Vuitton, 196 Oakbrook Center, and Oak Brook IL.
At approximately 3:31 PM on November 17th, the Oak Brook Police Department responded to a
report from mall security of several subjects involved in a grab and run of merchandise. It was
determined fourteen suspects drove away from the scene in three separate vehicles.
At this time a dollar amount of merchandise taken is pending a full inventory count. The video is
currently not being released at this time due to an active investigation.
This case is under investigation at this time and no other information is currently available. Anyone
