ackground/Historv:
The following are proposed revisions to Title 12 (Recreational Facilities), Chapter 2, (Oak Brook
Golf Club,Village Code for the 2022 season. These revisions have been drafted by the staff based
on a review of past operations, rising costs and market analysis.
Staff proposes the attached golf rates which are in accordance with the market place and
comparable golf facilities. The following golf courses were referenced to align our weekend golf
rates and driving range pricing: Willow Crest, Village Links of Glen Ellyn, Arrowhead Golf Club,
Cog Hill, The Preserve at Oak Meadows, Highlands of Elgin, Fresh Meadows and St. Andrews
Golf Club. Oak Brook Golf Club will continue using the dynamic pricing strategy to maximize
revenue during peak and non-peak hours throughout the golf season.
Changes to fees include increasing Non-Resident weekend rates from $58.00 to $63.00. Non-
Resident Twilight rates would increase from $38.50 to $40.50. No changes are proposed to
Resident Greens Fees. Limited membership twilight start times would move from 2:00 pm to 4:00
pm and, at the driving range, a bucket of range balls would increase from $9.00 to $10.00 for
Residents and$10.00 to $12.00 for Non-Residents.

D. Driving Range Fees: The cost of a bucket of seventy(70)balls is ten dollars$10.00 for residents
and twelve dollars $12.00 for nonresidents. A driving range key (20 tokens) may be purchased
for eighty dollars ($80.00) for residents and ($90.00) for nonresidents. The driving range
membership: five hundred fifty dollars ($550.00) for golf members, seven hundred fifty dollars
($750.00) for residents and eight hundred fifty dollars($850.00) for nonresidents.
E. Limited Junior and Senior Memberships permit Saturday, Sunday and Holiday play after 4PM.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the Village Board approve the attached Ordinance.
