Large Number of Residents turn out for Installation of New
Board of Trustees at First Board Meeting
Oak Brook, Illinois (May 21, 2009) — Newly -elected Village of Oak Brook Trustees
Stelio Aktipis, Dr. Mark M. Moy and Elaine Zannis were sworn -in by Justice Jorgensen of the
2nd Appellate Court on May 12, 2009 at Oak Brook Bath & Tennis Clubhouse before the
Board of Trustees, Board Members from the Chamber of Commerce, community
leaders, representatives from local businesses, and residents. The brief ceremony, led
by Rev. Daniel Meyer, as well the Board meeting that followed are available for viewing

President John W. Craig. 'We have half the Board with doctorates, ranging from PhD to MD,
and on the other hand we have three very talented business people."
The May 12th Board meeting concluded by giving direction to the Village Attorney to
begin negotiation for the outsourcing of the B&T Grill in an effort to improve quality, customer
service and improve revenues - reinforcing the Board's philosophy of fiscal responsibility. The
Village Board will continue to focus on village finances and will be discussing items that affect
the 2009 Budget in June.
