The Taste event will be held on Sunday, July 3rd, from 2:00 – 9:00 PM and will feature cuisine from some of Oak Brook’s finest restaurants. Participating restaurants include: Anyways Restaurants & Pub, Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse, India House, Kama Indian Bistro, Kona Grill, LaBriola Bakery Café, McDonald’s Corporation, Reza’s Restaurant , The Grotto, and Tuscany Italian Restaurant. Each of these restaurants will feature specialty cuisine and will surely please everyone’s taste, including some childrens items. A separate Sangria Tent has been added. In addition the Beverage Tent featuring beer, wine, water and soda drinks and a separate Sangria tent has been added, all at reasonable prices. This year the Village is excited to announce the addition of live bands, which will begin at 2 PM with Stockwood, 3:45 PM, Sixteen Candles, 6 PM Hi Infidelity, 7:45 PM Frank Lamphere and at 8:20 PM musical DJ- Bang. The 2011 Taste will also have several additional Children’s activities including: balloon artists, face painters, a magician, a stiltwalker, Mad Science, petting zoo and the Jesse White Tumbling Team. Purchase of tickets for food, beverages and children’s activities is available only on the event date and several ticket booths will be available. An ATM machine will be available on site. We will have Sanford-Brown College and Advocate Hospital will be offering free health screenings for interested participants. Onsite parking is available with additional lots walkable from nearby areas. A parking fee of $10.00 per vehicle will be charged however, parking participants will receive a coupon for $10.00 off (with food purchase) at participating restaurants listed on the back of their parking stub. • Page 2 Appvd: V.
