Installation of New Village Board
Oak Brook, Illinois (May 3, 2011, 3:00 PM) — Newly -elected Village of Oak Brook Officials,
President Gopal Lalmalani, Trustees Michael Manzo and Asif Yusuf along with re-elected officials
Trustee Gerald Wolin and Village Clerk Charlotte Pruss were sworn -in to office at the May 2, 2011
meeting held at Oak Brook Bath & Tennis Clubhouse before the Board of Trustees, Board
Members from the Chamber of Commerce, community leaders, representatives from local
businesses, and residents. The brief ceremony is available for viewing online at

The first full meeting of the new Village Board will be held on May 10, 2011, 7:00 PM in the
Samuel E. Dean Board room at the Butler Government Center. The Village Board will continue to
reamain focused on Village fiscal responsibilities and economic development.
About the Village of Oak Brook:
Founded in 1958, the Village of Oak Brook is located 20 miles west of downtown Chicago and is in
proximity to the junction of Interstates 88, 294, and 290. The Village consists mostly of residential
subdivisions, with the exception of the Oak Brook Center shopping mall, other retail and office
properties along 22nd Street and Interstate 88. Oak Brook is the home of many corporate offices, most
