Our agreement provided that if the ComEd Price to Compare (“PTC”) fell below the Agreement rate, Eligo would meet the ComEd PTC or return customers back to ComEd. That has now happened. Recently, ComEd proposed PTCs of 6.195 cents/kWh for this June through September and 6.315 cents/kWh from October through May 2017. As these new rates fell below our contracted rate of 6.754 cents/kWh, we began working in a cooperative manner with Eligo to establish a rate equal to the ComEd pricing or return our residents back to ComEd. Our joint work has resulted in Eligo agreeing to establish a rate equal to the ComEd PTC for some of the Village customers and return other customers to ComEd. Customers staying with Eligo will see the new price reflected on their July ComEd bill, which covers the energy provided during the month of June. Customers returning to ComEd will receive notification of their pending return via letters sent by ComEd. Throughout the remaining term of the contract, Eligo will continue to adjust the customers’ bills in accordance with the then current ComEd PTC or, in the alternative, return customers to ComEd. Customers retain the right at any time to return to ComEd, but they remain protected to receive competitive rates even if they stay with Eligo. The Village appreciates the cooperation we received from Eligo Energy, LLC in this matter and looks forward to working with them for the remainder of the aggregation term and in the future. • Page 2 About the Village of Oak Brook: Founded in 1958, the Village of Oak Brook is located 15 miles west of downtown Chicago and is in proximity to the junction of Interstates 88, 294, and 290.
