SUBJECT: An Amendment to Title 4, Chapter 1, Section 8A of the Village Code of
the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois By Decreasing By One to Thirty-Nine the Number
of Authorized Class A-1 Liquor Licenses and Decreasing By One to Eighteen the
Number of Authorized Class B Liquor Licenses.

RECOMMENDED MOTION: I move to approve the passage of Ordinance 2022-
LC-AL-G-1212, "An Ordinance Amending Title 4, Chapter 1, Section 8A of the
Village Code of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois by Decreasing By One to Thirty-
Nine the Number of Authorized Class A-1 Liquor Licenses and decrease By One to
Eighteen the Number of Authorized Class B Liquor Licenses."
Background/History:
Village Code requires that any change in the number of liquor licenses that are being held
in the Village of Oak Brook must be passed by ordinance.
Mon Ami Gabi Oakbrook LLC d/b/a Mon Ami Gabi was approved for a Class A-1 and
Class B liquor license for their establishment located at 260 Oakbrook Center. The Village
was informed they have gone out of business as of November 24, 2021, and they are
relinquishing their liquor license. This will decrease the number of Class A-1 liquor
licenses by one and the Class B liquor licenses by one, leaving the total number of Class
A-1 liquor licenses at thirty-nine and Class B liquor licenses at eighteen.
Recommendation:
The recommendation is for the passage of Ordinance 2022-LC-AL-G-1212.
