RE: Linebacker Agreement
Dear Mr. Summers:
Thank you for using our Linebacker program to hire an interim police chief. My understanding is that
Terry Mee,who we referred to you,will earn $11,000 per month in this role, beginning April 1, 2022,
and ending July 1, 2022, although there might be some flexibility in the end date.
I am writing to confirm that with your Linebacker agreement with the Illinois Association of Chiefs of
Police,the Village of Oak Brook will pay ILACP ten percent of that amount, or$1,100 per month, as the
Linebacker fee. This is a separate fee paid to the association and is not subtracted from Mr. Mee's
compensation.The association will send the village an invoice for$1,100 on the last day of each month
that Mr. Mee serves as your interim police chief.The final invoice will be prorated if he serves less than
a full month. The Linebacker fee will continue until his final day as the interim chief.
The Village of Oak Brook will notify us when Mr. Mee is no longer the interim chief.
