SUBJECT: Contract Services—Temporary Employment- Interim Finance Director

Contract Services.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: I move that the Village Board authorize staff to issue a
Purchase Order to Robert Half International Inc., Chicago, Illinois, in the not to exceed
the amount of$35,000 for Temporary Employment Services for the vacant Finance
Director Position, and approve Resolution R-2014.
Background/History:
On February 17th, the Village's former Finance Director gave his written notice that he
would be resigning effective March 3, 2022. With the resignation of the Finance Director,
the Village did not have enough time to advertise, interview, and hire a new individual for
this position. In the interim,the Village contacted Robert Half International Inc.to provide
a temporary employee to fill in as the Interim Finance Director until a new finance
director's hiring process is completed. We expect the hiring process to be completed by
the end of April 2022.
Recommendation:
The Village Board authorize staff to issue a Purchase Order to Robert Half International
Inc., Chicago, Illinois, in not to exceed the amount of$35,000 for Temporary
Employment Services for the vacant Finance Director Position and approve Resolution
R-2014.
