RECOMMENDED MOTION: A Motion to Approve Ordinance 2022-PL-RR-EX1-S-1645,
An Ordinance Amending Certain Sections of the Personnel Manual of the Village of Oak Brook.
Background/History:
Our current Personnel Manual was approved by the Village Board on January 13, 2015, with
Resolution 2015-PL-RR-R-1424. We worked with HR Source Management Association to review
and make the necessary changes to the Village's Personnel Manual to bring the Village in compliance
with State and Federal laws and best practices.
Revisions of the new Personnel Manual include the following sections:
Section 3.01 Equal Employment Opportunity Section 7.03 Breastfeeding Workplace Policy
Section 3.08 Separation Section 7.04 Reasonable Accommodations
Section 4.02 Lunch Periods&Rest Periods Section 7.05 Illegal/Prohibited Drugs and
Alcohol/Drug-Free Workplace Act

Records
