RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, RAY'D D J. VAN DYKE, JR. has faithfully served the Village
•
of Oak Brook as
a member of the Oak Brook Plan Commission from 1960 to 1961,
and thereafter also completed the unexpired term of Trustee Peter Dehmlow, as
a mater of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook fran ftaruary
to May, 1965; and
WHEREAS, RAYMOND J. VAN ENKE, JR. was appointed as the Village
Treasurer on June 14, 1951 and has served in that capacity since that date;
and
WHEREAS, through his untiring efforts on behalf of the Village of Oak
Brook in the positions aforesaid and in other ways be has greatly contributed
to the progress and well-being of said Village and its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion that
a record of said faithful service should be made and spread upon the records
of said Village;
WCW, TBEREPORE, BE IT R1 LVtD by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Egook. that the said RAYMOND J. VAN DYKE, JR. be and he
is hereby =vended for his faithful service to the Village of Oak Brook and
the citizens thereof.
BE Tr FURTHER MOWED that the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oak Brook for and on behalf of said Village and its citizens
do hereby extend their thanks and gratitude to the said RAYIU D J. VAN DYKE,JR.
for his services to the Village and that a copy of these resolutions be delivered
to the said RAYMOND J. VAN DYKE, JR. by the Clerk of the Village of Oak Brook.
PASSED and APPI IVEO by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, this 14th day of
August, 1979. •
