RESOLUTION 'NO It- 292
A RESOLUTION EXTENLING THE AGREEMENT TO. PROVIDE
FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES TO MAYSLAKE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Village of Oak -Brook' has heretofore been pro-
viding fire protection service for°tbe area known as theMayslake
Village, which is located South of 35th Street, West of Route 83
and East of Midwest Road; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said complex, the Franciscan Tertiary
Province of the Sacred Heart, Inc. , have requested the continuance
of this Village service; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of Oak
Brook desire to honor this request and continue said fire protection
service pursuant to the terms and conditions of this Resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT' AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK, COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove
set forth are hereby adopted as though fully, set forth herein.
Section 2: That the Village of Oak Brook agrees to continue
the provision of fire protection services to the property. known as
the Mayslake' Village as .hereinabove described provided,-however, that
such service shall not include ambulance or emergency medical techni-
cian service and shall cease upon the first to occur of;. '
A) June 1, 1981; or
B) the annexation of.the property or any portion
thereof to the Village of Westmont. .
Section 3: That the provisions of this Resolution shall
not be a limitation upon the rights, privileges and immunities of the
Village of Oak Brook under law or the Statutes of the State of
Illinois in regards to the provision of or performance of fire pro-
tection services to the° property.described herein°'. ,
Section' 4: That this Resolution shall full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval as provided by law
and upon the acceptance of the provisions of this Resolution by the
Franciscan Tertiary Province of the Sacred Heart, Inc. .

ACCEPTANCE
•
The undersigned Franciscan Tertiary Province of the Sacred
Heart, Inc. executes this•Acceptance in the place provided blow
for the. purpose of acknowledging that it has received a copy of the
foregoing Resolution and for the purpose of indicating its consent
to and approval of the terms and conditions of such Resolution.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned Franciscan Tertiary
Province of the Sacred Heart, Inc. has caused this instrument to
be executed by its proper corporate officers thereunto duly authorized
as of the day and year written below.

Fire Protection. The draft of the resolution
is satisfactory and the Franciscan Tertiary
Province of the Sacred Heart has indicated its
acceptance by signature of the President on the
enclosed form.
