R-307 - 07/14/1981 - APPRECIATION - Resolutions • R-301 ; ' IP rl r M StensR RESOLUTION WHERPAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook take note of, and are deeply saddened by, the sudden and untimely passing , of Paul Butler on June 24, 1981, and WHEREAS, Paul Butler, during his long association with the Village of Oak Brook, extending from before its founding to the time of his passing from ourmidst, did consistently devote energy, thought and time above and beyond the traditional call of duty to his community, and IJIHEREAS, Paul Butler's pioneering spirit and foresight in plmudng, development and continuing involvement in and love for the community and its citizens has materially contributed to today's quality of life enjoyed within the Village of Oak Brook, and has directly furthered its national reputation as a premier qty in which both to reside and to conduct business activity, and SAS, Paul Butler did consistently and at all tines give unselfishly of his time, ]atowlefi e, talent and ability in order to continue to maim Oak Brook an eau finer and more beautiful place in which to live, and *VMS,, Paxl Butler will be sorely missed by all of his friends, neighbors and the official family of the Village of Oak Brook Ailey the sneanory of his efforts and the results of his dreams will Tanis with us always; ?(M THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV11)by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, on behalf of all village residents, that they do hereby extend their most sincere and deepest sympathy to the fannfily of Pail Butler on the occasion of his maize* death. PROPERTY. Authorized by Board at Regular Meeting of June 23, 1981. Trustee Congreve moved - seconded by Trustee Rush.... To approve Ordinance No. 5-477 as presented and waive reading of same. FOR ZANORERS, WORKMEN AND MECHANICS EMPLOYED ON PUBLIC WORKS IN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS.
