RESOLUTION NO. R- 308
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE FIRE
PROTECTION SERVICES TO MAYSLAKE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook plr'suant to Resolution R-292
has heretofore been providing fire protection service for the area
known as the Mayslake Village, which is located South of-35th
Street, West of Route 81 and East of Midwest Road; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said complex, the Franciscan Tertiary
Province of the Sacred Heart, Inc. , have requested the continuance
of this Village service; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Villeg: of Oak Brook I'I
desire to honor this request and continue said fire protection
service pursuant to the terms and conditions of this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove
set for-th are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That the Village of Oak Brook agrees to continue
the provision of fire protection service to the property known as
the Mayslake Village as hereinabove described provided, however,
that such service shall not include ambulance or emergency medical
technician service and shall cease upon,the first to occur of:
A. September -30,° 1981; or
B. The annexation of the property or any .Portion
thereof to the Village of Westmont
The provisions of Section 2 of Resolution R-292 are hereby amended as
hereinabove set forth.
Section 3: That the,provisions of this Resolution; shall not
be a limitation upon the, rights, privileges, and.im anities of the
Village of Oak Brook under law or the Statutes of the State of
Illinois in regards to the provision of or performance of fire pro;
tection services to the property described.herein. `:
Section 4: That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval as provided by law
and upon the acceptance of the provisions of this Resolution by the
Franciscan Tertiary Province of the Sacred Heart, Inc.„, ,
