RESOLUTION NO. R- 312
A RESOLUTION REAFFIRMING APPROVAL OF THE DES PLAINES RIVER FLOOD-
WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN AND THE ACQUISITION BY THE STATE OF ILLINOIS'
OF PROPERTY NECESSARY THEREFOR
WHEREAS, the President and Board of. Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook have heretofore on September 17, 1979 passed and approved
Resolution R-261,:which endorsed the Memorandu m of Understanding. re-
garding implementation of the.Des Plaines Raver Floodwater Management
Plan Structural Measures in the Lower Des Plaines Tributaries Watershed;.
and
WHEREAS, said President and Board. of Tru tees have To-reviewed
the alternatives available for impleafentatien of said Plan; and
WHEREAS,: it is the continuing concensus Of tho President and'Board
of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook that Stich a -Blood control -plan
for Salt Creek is a benefit to the Village of,Oak Brook by eli.minatftg
upstream flooding along •Salt Ceeels and.,the res$t:ant effects upon _ h,•
property in the Village of Oak Brook,
NOW%.THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTI"2S" OF THE VILLAQE OF OAK IDR0014 DU_ PAcE,,AND•COQK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS that it breaf t:sms its approval. of a .concept of flood con-,
trol structure for tower Solt Creek utilizing the property presently
